    The Birch Island Boardwalk is such a beautiful place to visit here in town. The boardwalk will take you along the side of the Hamilton River and throughout the woods and wetlands.

  • Dome Mountain Lookout

    It's about a 25 minute drive from the center of town, but worth the drive. Situated on top of dome mountain, this lookout overlooks our town.

  • Scenic Waterfalls & Peace Rock

  • The Gathering at Gull Island

    A time for tradition and human connection”.

    The Gathering is a cultural event for the Sheshatshui Innu that takes place in Gull Island during mid September for a week where they return to the land to reclaim their culture’s traditions. During the week-long gathering, the indigenous group sleep in tents and lived a more traditional way of life, away from modern technology like cellphones.

  • Trapline Marathon
